CSEPP Advisor 5.1

The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) designed this unique computer-based reference product to assist responders in the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP). It includes:

  • personal digital assistant (PDAs) applications that can be used to enhance emergency response communications/coordination
  • a generic CSEPP Web site developed using Microsoft FrontPage 2003 and instructions guiding you through customizing each page of your Web site
  • collaboration platforms that can be used by anyone with access to post and share information, schedule important events, and maintain a running log of events, task response team members, and even to text communicate
  • information and resources on wireless technology as the new standard for many communication functions
  • resource information on mobile joint information centers, chemicals, maps around CSEPP facilities, a technical glossary, and more

The PDA, Web, and wireless technology tools found in Advisor 5.1 have been designed to be highly effective in emergency data and information management while meeting National Incident Management System (NIMS) interoperability requirements.
